Project Citizen
Recently, the SAVE group at the high school has adapted to the Project Citizen format. This is a 10-step program that helps a "group" reach its goal. Project Citizen is a guide to help us on our way to changing public policy. We have started to explore steps 1 and two of Project Citizen by interviewing kids in school about vandalism. However most of the steps are completely new to us and have opened our eyes to new ways of approaching a problem. Hopefully, this program will help us achieve our goals of addressing vandalism, violence and other problems that need to be dealt with.
